WELCOME TO CLASSICS 3 of GOLD and BLUE RESTAURANT, INC.

Beginning in the late 1930's by Ross and Mary Barber with the LOGO, ( Where Dad Met His Girl ) and the name of there establishment The GOLD and BLUE RESTAURANT located uptown on High Street before moving to 1 Beechurst Ave which was on the corner just down the street from Old Field House ,Mountaineer Football Field and Saint Frances High School.All the GREATS came to this place to eat at one time or another. Players like Hot Rod Hundley , Jerry West ,Sam Huff ,Tom Davies , Tommy Allman and so on and so on.

In the year 1983 Mary Barber and son Ross Jr. decided it was time to retire and sold the family business to Lou and Kathy Scotchel .Lou's grand parents Tony and Angelina Scarcelli Scotchel were close friends of the Barber and Oliverio families.So it wasn't to difficult to turn over the family treasure .This is why Lou and Kathy decided on the new LOGO ,( WHERE GOOD FRIENDS ARE LIKE FAMILY ) was created for a new image. Our Family Restaurant takes great pride in what we've accomplished in the past 70 years ,by both the Barbers and now the Scotchel's.Great Times are only getting better !

We have a great menu plus serving breakfast all day long as well as our delicious sandwiches, hoagies, soup and salads. Try our Spaghetti and meatballs,sausage or chicken ,served with salad and garlic bread or parmesan bread,(your choice)

Upstairs Bar/Lounge serving up all of your favorite drinks all day and night. Come and watch your favorite sporting events on one of our many HDTV's. We show all of the WVU games on the bigscreen.

From Morgantown take Route 7 East or from I-68 take Route 7 West to CVS and Southern States intersection at traffic light then turn on 857 South to CLASSICS 3 just 1 block from Route.
